Course: IT Externship
Course Description
Externships allow students to gain meaningful experience in the Information Technology industry by providing professional exposure to the technologies they have learned in the program. Students will gain troubleshooting and critical thinking skills though hands-on experience. This course is intended to be taken at the end of the A+ Essentials and Practical Application courses.
Certificate
Completion of this externship course, along with all of the other courses in the Computer Upgrade & Repair Technician (A+) program, will certify proficiency in the skills. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.
This course is not required by any Information Technologies Programs.

Tuition is based on the number of enrolled classroom hours. High school students are exempt from tuition, but are responsible for course and program fees and the cost of textbooks.
