Course: Word Processing Applications I (MS Word)
Course Description
This course focuses on basic word processing features used in creating, editing, saving, and retrieving business documents. Practical business applications involving creating and correctly formatting business documents, completing projects, and solving problems will also be covered.
Certificate
Completion of this course certifies proficient word processing skills based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.

There are no specific requirements to take this course. However, courses in the Business Technology Programs are to be taken in order. The course list can be found on the information sheet for each program or by contacting Student Services.
