Course: Spreadsheet Applications I (MS Excel)
Spreadsheet Applications I introduces spreadsheet functions and applications. Students will learn how to design, create, manipulate, calculate, and present data. Students will utilize critical thinking skills and apply spreadsheet techniques in developing information for business applications.
Completion of this course certifies proficient speadsheet application skills based on a score of 80% or higher on competency exams. A Certificate of Skill Competence is available upon request.

This is a competency-based course offered in open-entry/open-exit format.
The estimated length of this course is 60 hours. Actual course length will depend upon your schedule and your ability to master the subject material.
There are no specific requirements to take this course. However, courses in the Business Technology Programs are to be taken in order. The course list can be found on the information sheet for each program or by contacting Student Services.

Tuition is based on the number of enrolled classroom hours. High school students are exempt from tuition, but are responsible for course and program fees and the cost of textbooks.
